Question: why not just use the magic wand to select an area that's already filled with a base colour and then shade on another layer? It seems I achieve the same result with the an equal amount of effort or less. Is there a difference?

Just for the benefit of other users, There is a very important presumption here , took me a while to figure out. You MUST have a new document open, with a standard background layer. If not you are lost from the start. I’ve got a student who only has photoshop, it’s not my preferred option but it works for basic animation so needed to relearn how to do animation myself in Photoshop. The timeline doesn’t seem to have altered from CS6 through to Photoshop

How did you add the slanted dashes on the Gadget on the lower right? the other gadgets either have a rounded or flat edge.

Hello everyone. I'm having an issue with this. It tells me the adjustment layer in the Main comp I linked the color (from a layer in another comp inside Main) to does not exist or was moved (not the case). Has anybody encountered this issue? It does work in a new project when I try it. EDIT: damn, I figured it out a few minutes later. After staying up until 4 AM yesterday feeling hopeless about my well linked and all encompassing color control... so it turns out I had an imported project folder inside the project. The main comp is named the same "!MAIN". That probably confused After Effects in the code, haha.

Can the entire contact sheet be exported as one pdf which can be printed on a single A4. I mean can i have this 3 x 5 grid of pictures all on one sheet rendered to pdf ?
